i really enjoy playing baseball pools every year. in terms of sports entertainment during the summer, there is nothing much to be excited about. baseball is the only sports around but it's a very boring sports. however, playing fantasy pools gives a little excitement to the summer; a little competition.
here are some of the tips i found for competing in baseball pools:
- persevere for the whole season => during the long season some competitors will give up or forget about their teams, even if you are low in ranking for most of the season, there is always opportunities to win or doing well in the pool.

- drafting for positions instead of drafting players => some positions have limited number of good baseball players, for example: catchers, there are only a handfull of good catchers and so, making catchers a priority for drafting helps.
- try to dominate one category of the point system that most teams neglect.
- good players will always be good unless injured
- there will always have many good outfielders emerge during the season
- keep updating yourself with the latest daily boxscores and statistics of all players

it is quite exciting every year when you compete against different compeitions. there are always new dynamic among the teams and in there i develop many new strategies. i really enjoy winning and playing these pools.
but anyways i don't think many of you will ever try this thing... haha
